IEPF Meaning

IEPF stands for Investor Education and Protection Fund. It is a Government of India fund that protects investors and holds unclaimed dividends & shares.

What gets transferred?

Can it be recovered?

Dividends: If dividend is not claimed for 7 consecutive years, it is transferred to IEPF.

Shares: If dividend remains unclaimed for 7 consecutive years on the same shares, then the shares are also transferred to IEPF.
